A recipient of the Jacques Cartier Memorial Award which has been conferred only 42 times since its inception in 1958 by Cartier and only five times to a jeweller, it honours a craftsperson of exceptional and outstanding talent. Tom Rucker's designs have garnered multiple international accolades, including special honours from the Western Cape and Japanese government as well as multiple awards at the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council awards held annually at Goldsmiths’ Hall in London. Described as one of the most influential platinum jewellery designers of his time, Tom’s masterpieces have been acquired by multiple private and public art collections and graced numerous red carpets, lending their brilliance to prestigious events like the Oscars and Emmys. Tom is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, a Freeman of the City of London and an Ambassador to the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council.
